iB-5324 Product Family Increases Flexibility and Speed of Wireless Sensor Network Deployments
Millennial Net's new product line, the i-BeanŽ
5324 Family (iB-5324), provides support for
emerging standards in low-power wireless mesh
networking and integration enhancements to
speed deployment and increase revenue
opportunities for OEMs and systems integrators.
The two primary features of this release are a
greater array of software and hardware
options and support for 802.15.4
radios based on specifications from the ZigBee
Alliance, an association of companies working
together to develop low-power wireless
networking products based on a global, open
standard.

Millennial Net Honored with Several Awards
Millennial Net received a Best of Sensors
Expo Award for its Sensor Network
Management Software. Awarded by the editors of
Sensors magazine, Millennial Net's recognition in
the Communications & Networking Products
category, highlights the company's excellence
and dedication to advancing wireless mesh
networking anywhere.
Millennial Net co-founder and CTO Sokwoo Rhee
received the Douglas H. Annin Award
for the design and development of a self-
organizing wireless sensor network system. The
award, established in 1985, recognizes an
outstanding achievement in the design or
development of components of an automatic
control system from the input measurement
through the final control element.
Sokwoo has also been named to the 2004 list of
the world's 100 Top Young Innovators
by Technology Review, MIT's Magazine of
Innovation. The TR100, chosen by the editors of
Technology Review and an elite panel of judges,
consists of 100 individuals under age 35 whose
innovative work in technology has a profound
impact on today's world. This year's nominees
are recognized for their contributions in
transforming the nature of technology and
business in industries such as biotechnology and
medicine, computing, and nanotechnology.
Millennial Net received the Frost & Sullivan
2004 Wireless Sensors Technology Innovation of
the Year Award recognizing the company's
introduction of an outstanding enterprise-class
wireless sensor networking solution.

Millennial Net Expands Management Team to Accommodate Growth
Millennial Net has appointed Terence
Halloran as chief financial officer.
Terry brings more than 20 years of finance
experience in software and manufacturing
companies and a strong track record in
transitioning entrepreneurial ventures to
established companies.
Millennial Net has also brought Chet
Gapinski on board as vice president of
engineering. Chet is responsible for leading
the engineering and product development efforts
of the company. He brings more than 25 years of
engineering, general management, and project
management to this role.
